If you have noticed “wiener” dogs go by many other names like Doxie and Dachshund- they all refer to the same dog breed. The Dachshund originated in Germany and was bred for extracting badgers from their holes with their keen nose, unique build, and very courageous attitude.  The Dachshund is also a very loyal companion. They love to lie on your lap and love being the center of attention.  The Dachshund will let you know when anyone is around- they are a fearless watch dog. Please remember though that they are more of inside dog! Each puppy will receive an AKC,CKC or ACA registration application current vaccination and worming records. Puppies are vaccinated at 6,9,12 and 15 weeks. Dewormed at 3,6,9,12 and 15 weeks.

 

I am retiring 1 of my parents; they are marked on the Mothers(1 left) Free to a good home.

 

 I realize my prices are on the higher end- however- these prices reflect upon the higher quality of dog I raise. Pet shops and bargain breeders do not have a health guarantee. You do not know the type of dog you are getting! Remember- you are making a 13 to 15 year investment in your canine companion. I also strictly follow AKC guideline for bettering the breed. This takes into account genetics, health, looks, and temperament. I have stopped using several of my breeders due to genetics or health issues.

 Another important difference between Robin’s Dashing Doxies and pet stores or bargain breeders is the opportunity to vaccinate your dog. I offer vaccination for your pet after he/she leaves. Vaccination series at the vet’s office can run around $70 per series.  Your puppy will need four rounds of their puppy vaccine series! I begin vaccinating at 6, 9, 12, and 15 weeks with each puppy. When they leave Robin’s Dashing Doxies they will be completely up to date with their shots. Depending on their date of departure- your puppy will need 2-3 more vaccine series after they leave. I can offer these shots to you for $10 a series! (A $60 PER SERIES savings!)  This will include 5 way vaccination, baordtilla, and de-worming. This is a deal! Which ever you choose- please do not skip on your puppy’s vaccinations- they will protect them!
