About Us

How did I begin breeding Miniature Dachshunds? People keep asking me that question and really it just happened by chance. Hi, my name is Robin Kearney. One day my twin sons and I were invited over my sister-in-law’s house. She told us about her neighbor who had three Dachshunds who needed a good home. We were looking for a dog, but I was not sure I wanted Dachshund.  We were considering another breed. However, my uncle had three Dachshunds and I always loved playing with them. So, we went to see the puppies. Every time I walked over to Toby’s pin he stood on his hind legs to greet me. After the fourth time this happened, I told my sons that we had a new dog.
Dachshunds know how to get in your heart and stay there! He so much fun to watch- we just love him. If he does not think his getting enough attention, he will lie down in front of you on his back in the hopes of a belly rub. I started researching Dachshunds and decided I wanted to breed Miniature Dachshunds. I do suggest that you make sure a Dachshund is the breed meant for you. There are many different breeds of dogs just as there are many different types of people.

We raise AKC, CKC and ACA registered miniature Dachshund. We are constantly striving to improve the health, genetic concerns, temperament, and appearance of our dogs. Our miniatures Dachshund are kept in a heated and air-conditioned kennel.  When the puppies are born they are handled ever day so they will be social puppies (and a little spoiled!). All of our breeder dogs are feed Pedigree. Our breeder dogs are also given Sentinel which prevents heartworm, disease, and fleas in dogs.
